Fancy Daffs, double daffodils by the bunch
Early spring is a bit stingy with its flower release… but these specialty daffodils simply can’t be ignored! Not your grandma’s typical yellows. Expect doubles like you’ve never seen before. They are easy to throw into a vase all by themselves to cheer a dreary corner or windowsill. A nice dozen stems come to you in the bud stage so you can enjoy watching their petals unfurl. Once fully open they last 3-5 days in a cool spot. Nothing like a daff to bring a smile!
We harvest these before they open, so what you get may be a surprise. We have several varieties in different shapes and shades, from buttery yellow and white to apricot and cheerful yellow. There are even a couple late varieties that have multiple blooms per stem! A few names you may expect, weather dependent, are- “Cheerfulness”, “White Lion”, “Replete”, “Apricot Whirl”, among others that lost their names. Order more than one bunch and we’ll include a variety of species.
